One of the most important components on a bike is the brake shoe, housing the brake pads that enable you to come to a safe stop. These Shimano style XLC Catridge Brake Shoes Road BS-R02 are suitable for carbon road bike frames that use calliper brakes. They are cartridge system brake shoes, meaning they take removable brake blocks which can be replaced when worn down, so these brake shoes shouldn’t need replacing once installed. These components come in packs of four, two brake shoes for the front calliper, two for the rear. Each item is 55mm in length, made of a ceramic material, and they are suitable for alloy wheel rims coated with MAO, ceramic, Exalith or OXIC.
