New mechanical lever Ergopower Record™ 12x2 speed rim brake: Optics and function. The optics of the Record rim brake controls, made of unidirectional carbon fibre, provides performance, stiffness and reliability. Depending on the size of the hand, these new controls allow the rider to set two different distances between the lever and the handlebar without compromising braking performance, as the new inclination of the upshift lever avoids any contact with the bend of the handlebar. The lever position is easily and safely adjusted by directly operating the controls. Vari-Cushion technology allows for an ergonomic resting position and a comfortable and secure grip. The "one lever-one action" function assigns a function to each lever to avoid shifting errors. The Ultra-Shift mechanism allows you to shift up 3 sprockets and downshift up to 5 simultaneously. The double bend of the new Record™ 12x2 speed rim brake levers improves grip and therefore safety.
