It enables shifting on every chain ring at incredible speed - no trim and without cassette rattling. The rotating Yaw™ front derailleur cage was only an elegant solution for a problem drive units had to deal with for decades. Instead of various shifting processes with trim and confusing micro adjustments, the SRAM Force 22 Yaw™ front derailleur actually rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain. As a result, shifts feel more direct and precise and form a unit with chain, crank and chain rings.
