The XLC battery safety rear light Thebe CL-R02 is classified as a leisure or personal safety light for use as a backwards-facing red light. The light is a versatile and compact unit that features five ultra-bright, energy-efficient red LED lamps powered by two AAA batteries (included). The Thebe light has two modes, intermittent and continuous, with a battery life of 70 and 35 hours, respectively, so you can choose between different degrees of visibility. If you’re on busy roads at night, the best option is intermittent, as it gives you the best chance of being picked out from the surrounding darkness. It comes with universal mounting options but is not compliant with traffic regulations everywhere.
